A world transformed by God's love
A confident Church motivated to share God's love
A people celebrating being part of a worldwide family
We are called by Jesus to share the love of God with all who are around us.
Every Methodist is called to share in this mission, working together in cooperation, partnership and collaboration wherever they are.
In supporting social action (acts of charity) and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ - we are fulfilling God's mission that God will enable holiness, transforming lives, communities, nations and the world.

A Walk in Burbage Woods
We are lucky to have easy access to many different areas of countryside locally. I love to walk around Burbage Common and Woods among other sites available to us.
One summer’s day last year we drove to Burbage Woods . Immediately upon opening the car doors we were greeted by a cacophony of bird song. They all seemed to be singing as if to express their pure joy of simply being alive. As we strolled along the footpaths it was wonderful to see all the trees and plants in their various stages of growth and development. The summer sunshine was giving a dappled light through the thick cover of leaves.
We felt a great sense of peace and a real closeness to God through his amazing creation.
What a wonderful world we are privileged to live in .
Thank you Lord for all things bright and beautiful.
