Starting on Saturday 12th October we will once again be celebrating Christian Bookshop Week where we will have some great giveaways for our book buying customers on a
first come first served basis. We have had a donation of around 35 copies of the words edition of Mission Praise - if anyone would like any (perhaps for a small group?) please make
contact with Jessica.
We have filled our vacancy for a Saturday Assistant but we are still seeking the right person to become our new Assistant Manager - we would appreciate your prayers over this.

Carol Singing for Cancer Research
With All Saints Church
Christmas is fast approaching and I am pleased to say that we are once again organising carol singing for Cancer Research UK. We will follow our usual route around
Sapcote and I have obtained a licence to do so from Blaby District Council. The date will be Monday 23rd December from 7pm to 9pm, meeting at All Saints Church around 6.45pm. I do hope as many of you
will come along as possible to sing or collect. We always raise a substantial amount of money-usually between £200 and £300 in recent years- which is
much appreciated by the charity, as is our singing by all those that hear us. Please invite others you know that like to sing or are happy to collect. I will send you more details at a later
date.
Hope to hear from you and see you soon,
Thank you, Di Harrold
Thursday at 10 Bible Study
This autumn we plan to study BUSYNESS - Finding God in the Whirlwind, an eight-part study by Juanita Ryan.
We seem to be a busy Church with a lot of busy people. "In the midst of the whirlwind of ourmlives, it may seem impossible to make time to focus beyond the noise of daily demands and activities. In this guide, Juanita Ryan explores ways of conversing with GOd in the thick of life and coming to see our day's work as joyful service."
We will be using a Life Builder Study book, so if you want a copy of the book, to prepare for the next study, they are £4.97 each. We can buy a batch of copies, from the Vine, if there is sufficient demand.
Craft Fayre
We are having a craft fayre on 9th November, if you have any nice items or chocolate to donate for a tombola then please see Judy, Barbara, Violet or Mary.
Each year Sapcote Methodist Church organises a visit to this large inter-denominational Christian Conference.
Anyone is welcome to join! Spring Harvest aims to "equip the Church for action through a range of events, conferences, books and resources.
The tone is generally evangelical with modern worship muisc, workshops and Bible Study Groups".
We hold an annual Summer holiday club for Primary School age children following the Scripture Union resources but often with our own Sapcote Methodist Church twist!
Lots of songs, crafts, messy crafts, games, sports, prayers and stories its a great experience! Check out our home page for further details of our next holiday club. (Details published in May)
