Blister Pack Recycling
Many of us take medicines or supplements that come in blister packs. Blister packs are made from a combination of plastic and aluminium foil. Because these materials are bonded together, they cannot usually be processed through normal household recycling collections. As a result, millions of blister packs end up in landfill every year.
Recycling blister packs helps reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill. Specialist recycling allows the plastic and aluminium components to be recovered and reused, reducing the need for new raw materials. Recycling also helps conserve energy. Producing aluminium and plastic from recycled materials generally requires less energy than manufacturing them from scratch, helping to reduce carbon emissions.
How you can help:
Please don’t throw your blister packs in your household bin. Bring to the church where there will be a bin for you to deposit your empties. Once the bin is full it will be taken to Boots or Superdrug for specialist recycling.
This small act can have a lasting impact and we can play our part in protecting the world God created for us.

Eco Church Representatives
Each year Sapcote Methodist Church organises a visit to this large inter-denominational Christian Conference.
Anyone is welcome to join! Spring Harvest aims to "equip the Church for action through a range of events, conferences, books and resources.
The tone is generally evangelical with modern worship muisc, workshops and Bible Study Groups".
We are holding a Holiday Club in 2026. More details to follow soon.
