Action for children

We are supporting the National Charity Action for children, which is a charity close to the heart of Methodism. For over 150 years Action for Children has been working in partnership with the Methodist Church. As such we have chosen to support his National charity. Please Contact Judy Hall for further information regarding how you can support our fundraising efforts.

Hinckley Area Foodbank

At Sapcote Methodist Church we have been supporting Hinckley Area foodbank for a number of years now.

If you are able to support this worthy cause why not add an extra few items to your weekly supermarket shop and then add them to the basket in the church link.

Our Food Bank collection point is outside 18 Mill Close if anyone wishes to make a donation. Other donation points exist including The Vine Christian Book shop. Currently HAFB are short of large packets of biscuits (400+grams), small tins of potatoes, microwave rice and cereal (13- 16 portion size - often it states this information on the side of the packet).

Follow the link to their website to find out what the current needs are:

Christian Aid

Sapcote Methodist Church is proud to support Christian aid.

Christian Aid says:

"We work with local partners and communities to fight injustice, respond to humanitarian emergencies, campaign for change, and help people claim the services and rights they are entitled to."

Throughout the year we continue to support Christian Aid through Fundraising.
